It's that time of the year again. Visitors coming to Nha Trang this season will discover and feel other seductive aspects of Nha Trang, of malabar almond trees turning red, of sweet coolness from gentle breeze, and of the murmur of Nha Trang Sea.

In the up-coming months, we are organizing many special events to welcome all our dear guests: The thrilling Halloween night, the colorful lighting-up Ceremony of our Special Christmas Tree, the joyful Christmas Eve Party and the exciting New Year's Eve Party. Those will be moments unforgettable. Especially, on 10th December, we are celebrating the 12th Anniversary of the hotel with a lot of memorable activities. EVENTS OF THE MONTHS

• LUNAR NEW YEAR'S CELEBRATION (The Year of Dragon)
  The traditional Tet holidays always evokes strong emotion to all Vietnamese. It’s a great joy to enjoy the yellow of apricot blossom ( or the red of peach blossom in the North ), the jubilant drumbeat of Unicorn Dance and the cozy atmosphere of family gathering. However, the joy will not be completed without traditional Tet foods and activities. To celebrate Tet Holidays, Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Resort Hotel & Spa is organizing activities as follows:

- 16 - 22 Jan, 2011: “Tet” Flower Fair: (Làng hoa Xuân) with several kinds of flowers of Spring and bonsai, artistic figure stones, calligraphic parallel sentences to be displayed at the hotel.
- 24 - 26 Jan, 2012: Tet Food Festival: (Ẩm thực Tết) Enjoying and experiencing the Tết of Vietnamese people with delicious Vietnamese traditional food at Tết occasion served in the setting of the rural scenes accompanied by Vietnamese folk songs and dances.

• TET FOOD FESTIVAL
  - Time: 24 - 26 Jan,2012
  Vietnamese traditional food & international dishes will be served in a setting & air of the Vietnam’s countryside.

FOOD FOR TET HOLIDAYS IN VIETNAM

Banh Chung ( square glutinuos rice cake), Banh Tet ( cylindrical glutinous rice cake) are traditional cakes at Tet holidays in Vietnam. They are made of glutinous rice with green bean and fat pork inside, wrapped with phrynium leaves or banana leaves and tied with bamboo strips. When eating people often criss-cross the cake with a strip of bamboo. Vietnamese believe having these cakes at Tet will bring wealth and health for the whole new year.
